In a statement released by the Arizona College Republicans, their 1st Annual Golf Classic was a success.

“On March 16th, the Arizona College Republicans hosted their first ever major fundraiser, an AZCR Golf Tournament. The event hosted a major number of 38 players and featured such star players as AZ House Speaker Jim Weiers.

Chairman Hyde said of the event: “It was on a beautiful course at the Scottsdale Legacy Resort, and we had a lot of players there to compete. The first annual AZCR Golf Tourney turned out to be a big success!”
