The Arizona Watchtower was formed in July of 2006 as a political watch of the Arizona 2006 elections. Since the midterm cycle has passed, The Tower has become an overall political blog, looking at Arizona, National, and International Politics.

No Bull, Plain Talk, Barry Goldwater-Style Conservatism is how The Arizona Watchtower operates. We will tell it like it is. We will come down hard on anyone who deserves it, and praise anyone who earns it. If we don’t like you, you’ll know.

Big Tent Conservatism is the philosophy that encompasses The Arizona Watchtower. We believe that if the Republican Party is to be successful, we must all come together under the common Republican ideals that we believe in. We must formulate and execute a conservative agenda that works best for current times in America and abroad.

The Guard is the former coalition of the “boys of The Watchtower.” Now The Guard is just one, as the boys have become the:

  • The Guard
  • The Trooper
  • The Rough Rider

Ever watchful, ever mindful is what The Arizona Watchtower has been, is, and will continue to be.

Perhaps you can explain how “Big-Tent Conservatism” squares with “Barry Goldwater- Style-Conservatism”

Would you be kind enough to list what you consider the “…common Republican ideals that we all believe in.” So those of us who hail from families who lived and worked alongside Barry in the early 1960’s and who grew up in Goldwater households can fully appreciate your definitions.

To better understand the orientation of “the boys of the Watchtower” here are two groups claiming to represent Republicanism; at which site are “the Boys” more at home?

http://www.republican-leadership.com/ (formerly known as Its My Party Too PAC)
